Tramway. 126 London Road

A very distinctive looking pub. It is a pity that the original windows have been replace.

It was named the Tramway when the new tram lines were run past. This was an Old Brampton Brewery pub. Common in Chesterfield but quite unusual for Sheffield. The Old Brampton mouldings no doubt still exist beneath the tramcar picture. A huge Tranway Hotel sign also graced the flat area between the upstairs front windows.
