Stag Inn. 15 Psalter Lane
Over 300 years ago the original "Stag's Head" was a beer house and was sited a few yards nearer the city centre. This replacement building was errected as a coaching inn in 1805 to take advantage of the new turnpike road which passed by on its way to Owler Bar.
