Whilst this is not strictly a Sheffield pub, it is included because it is home to Towne's Brewery.
The Speedwell is a semi open plan pub, with a non smoking area. Around half a dozen real ales are always available, mostly brewed on the premises.
Beers are good value compared to Sheffield prices, and an annual beer festival is held.
