Sheffield Free Brewery. Queens Road

The business had a very chequered career. It was founded in 1900, survived liquidation and became Sheffield Free Brewery Co. in 1911. It survived a direct hit during the blitz on December 12th 1940. The bomb failed to explode.

Time was finally called when the brewery was taken over by Tennant Brothers and Stones in 1954.
