The Red Lion is a Victorian pub that once doubled up as a variety theatre. 100 years ago large audiences crowded the concert room adjoining the bar.
This is another fine old Ward's pub retaining its liverey. I have fond memories of rushing here at lunch times for a hot pork roll.
