The Paradise Inn was one of a cluster of pubs on situated around the corner of Paradise Street and Campo Lane. The Ball Inn was next door.
The pubs had a reputation as boisterous houses and are now sadly gone. The Paradise Inn building still exists but is now an insurance brokers.
