There was always a certain irony about a pub called the Norfolk Arms being built on Suffolk Road. The controversy over names continued after this John Smith's pub closed, because it reopened as a music oriented cafe/bar named the Treadmill. This would not have been a problem had it not been for the famous Leadmill music venue right next door. An injunction has prevented the use of the name Treadmill.
The picture shows the injunction struck bar with its signs taped over.
