The Norfolk Arms at Hollow Meadows is about as isolated as it is possible to get whilst still being a Sheffield pub.
It is thought that this old building became a beer house to supply refreshment to the navvies building the Rivelin Dams, becoming a fully licenced inn early last century.
It was a popular meeting place for the local clay pidgeon club, who had a shoot in the woods behind the pub.
