New Inn Sheffield Road Hackenthorpe
The New Inn became a public house around 1830,
falling into the hands of Tomlinson's Anchor Brewery of Sheffield just prior to
World War 1.
When Tomlinson's was bomber the brewery combined
with Hope Brewery to form Hope & Anchor Breweries. H&A continued to own
the pub until its closure in 1959.
