The Mulberry Tavern is more than 200 years old, although the current building bears little resemblance to the original.
Up to 30 years ago the pub had one entrance on Mulberry Street, which is a fairly dark alleyway. The pub was equally dim but sold a passable pint of Stones.
It has now been modernized and an entrance made onto Arundell Gate. There is far more glitz if a little less old world charm.
