When opened in the early years of the last century, the Medow Inn prodly announced Cannon Ales on the white patch between its upper windows. This was a beer only pub until its closure in the 1990s.
This may still look like a pub, but the swinging Stones sign has been replaced by one saying Living Waters, and the building is now run by a religeous organisation.
