Lord Nelson Inn. 166 Arundel Street

Alway's known as Fanny's after a wartime landlady Fanny Brocklebank. This old Stone's house was always full at lunchtimes. Its small rooms quicky filled with buffers and other workers from the local cuttlery trade.

Much of the local industry has gone but Fanny's carries on, only the beer on sale has changed.
