The Lodge was once a superb looking Stones public house. It had French gables and a full frontage of windows with etched and stained glass. When opened in 1852 it overlooked Sheffield Railway Station.
The Lodge only ever had a six day licence, remaining closed on Sundays. It closed forever in 1969, becoming a motorcycle showroom.
It now appears to be occupied by a used car dealership, and is in a dilapidated state.
