The Lady's Bridge Hotel was built by Tennants Brewery as the brewery tap, and had direct access to the brewery itself.
Tennants were taken over by Whitbread in 1962 and the brewery was closed in the 1980s.
The pub was known for some time as the Brewer on the Bridge, but was closed in 1993.
