It is likely that the Fiery Fred was a replacement for a public house demolished to make way for the Tinsley Viaduct. It was named in honour of Fred Trueman, the famous Yorkshire and England cricketer. Just what sort of tribute this shed of a pub is not obvious.
It's name was changed to Greenlands around 6 years ago and is now derelict.
