The original pub ( the white bit) was tiny. It was a three roomed pub that had been converted from two houses. Later Wards Brewery added a large extension to the pub and converted the whole into a two roomed establishment.
It was a popular pub for all ages without frills. Unfortunately it was demolished in a road widening scheme.
