A small single roomed pub that has remained almost unaltered since it was built in 1860. It does however have a chequerd past as 3 murders took place in the bar in 1960.
The East House is a popular "genuine" Irish bar, where musicians often gather. No need for plastic shamrock and Scruffy O'Murphys here. It also has a thriving off trade with customers from local Indian restaurants stolling across the road for takeaway pints of Tetley's.
