Cricketer's Arms. 106 Bramall Lane

A large Stone's pub opposite Sheffield United's football ground. It gets very busy on match days

Yorkshire played cricket at Bramhall Lane, at the time when they were the most successful county in the championship. During the 1930s they won 6 titles. Of course in those days the ground was flanked by two breweries, and perhaps the air helped.
