The Cocked hat was one of many pubs that served the workers from Brown Bailey's steel works. The pictures on the pub wall show just how these works dominated the area.
The works have gone and so have most of the pubs. Now just a handfull survive, now dominated by the Stadium.
The Cocked hat is a Marston's house and a mecca for good beer and good value food.
