Cask & Cutler. 1 Henry Street

Built around 1850 as the Wellington, the pub stood across the road from AH Smith's Don Brewery, and is said to have been the brewery tap.

Smiths were taken over by Tennants, and a few years ago the Wellington closed.

It re-opened as the Cask & Cutler, an outlet for products of independant brewers. Now firmly established on the real ale circuit and conveniently located beside the supertram line.
