Coach & Horses. 756 Attercliffe Road

Built as the Barrel Inn in 1819, the Coach & Horses was one of the logest serving pubs in the Attercliffe area. The name change occured in 1838 when the stage coaches started passing.

The pub was rebuilt in 1901 to its present form, and closed its doors in the late 1990s.

It is now a private hotel named The Swan.
