Burgoyne Arms. 246 Langsett Road

The Burgoyne Arms was built within a couple of hundred yards of at least 4 breweries. This Stone's pub did not however obtain its beer from any of them. It does however have one of the many springs in its back yard. It was these sources of unpoluted water that led so many breweries to basethemselves in the area.

It was originally a coaching inn on the main Sheffield to Penistone turnpike.
