Bradway Hotel. Bradway Road

In 1864 Bradway had a beer house called The Eagle. It would have provided refreshment to the workers of Twentywell Stone and Brickworks.

The following year work started on the Bradway Railway Tunnel, and this caused a huge influx of miners to carry out the enterprise. The Eagle changed its name to the Miners Arms to reflect its new clientel.

The current mock-tudor building was errected in 1920 as the population of Bradway increased. The name changed to the Bradway Hotel several years later.

The Bradway became a Hogshead several years ago, quite a transformation from a converted cottage selling Brampton Sparkling Ales.
