Adelphi Hotel

The Adelphi was a good Stones beer house. It was close to Theatre Royal and the Lyceum and was popular with both thespians and theatre goers. In its early years both Sheffield United CC and Yorkshire CCC met here.

Truswell's Brewery was just round the corner. Both were knocked down in the 1960s to make way for The Crucible Theatre and the Registry Office.
