This cheese wedge shaped pub is one of the most striking in the city. It is also one of the oldest.
This part of the city was laid out centuries ago, and was alive with pubs. The current building is around 200 years old, although an earlier pub may have stood on the site for over 300 years before that.
Fortunately it has a loyal band of regulars, and their efforts prevented plans to convert the Three Tuns into yet another fake Irish theme pub.
